Tips On Finding Your Photography Style With Lara Jade

A photographer's vision is unique to every individual and something that a lot of us struggle to find, especially in the first few years. You can't doubt it; style is one of the most recognised parts of a portfolio and an individual trademark. Cohesive photographers are remembered and booked time and time again, their vision is trusted and you can automatically recognised that they love what they do.

So how do we go about this? Exactly how do we find our style? There is certainly not an easy answer or any magic trick but about continually trying to reach your goal as a photographer. The best photographers are constantly setting themselves new challenges, they are never accomplished - often critical in their own craft but this is what makes them masters of what they do. If you're on the path of trying to improve your style or you're just starting out you need to first ask yourself the question - where do you want to be? Where do you see yourself in a few years?

Here's a list of tips I've gathered from my own experience:

Tip 1

Get out there and constantly shoot - you're gaining knowledge, experience and new contacts by doing this.

Photograph what inspires you - you are going to shoot your best work when you enjoy what you're shooting and you're inspired by what is in front of your camera!
