Hello, here's the news from the past week.

It seems photographers are going to take something of a financial hit now that Adobe has introduced a subscription charge for Adobe Creative cloud.

In kit news, Samsung has announced the NX2000, which features a larger screen and integrated 'Near Field Communication' Wi-Fi connectivity.

Elsewhere, a threat to photographers' copyright has once again materialised. This time in the form of the controversial new law, the Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act. There's been a storm of protest, with David Bailey being particularly critical – he went so far as to pen a letter of complaint to the government – and a petition has attracted thousands of signature.

Next up, a reminder that we are now running a Facebook monthly photo competition. Enter a photo taken this month on any theme, for a chance to win an Olloclip iPhone lens, and have your photo included in the magazine.

Finally, another reminder – if you're looking for new camera kit, we now have full, in-depth reviews of the Pentax MX-1 and Nikon D7100 online for you to read, plus an first look at the Sony NEX-3N.
