Hello, and welcome to the latest AP newsletter.

In product news this week we've seen the arrival of lenses from Zeiss - for Fujfilm X and Sony NEX mirrorless cameras - while Canon has launched the EF 200-400mm f/4L IS USM Extender 1.4x super-telephoto. It's got a price to match its specification – a whopping 11,999 pounds  

Elsewhere, regarding wider industry matters, Olympus has announced yet more job losses

There was good news pertaining to copyright issues when the Patents Court ruled in favour of a photographer whose celebrity photo had been used without permission
