Friday 12 July 2013

This week we've been busy adding a host of new content to the website, including buying advice, reviews and videos. Two of the latest cameras we've been putting through their paces are the Olympus E-P5 and the Sony RX100 II. To find out how these cameras perform, make sure you pay a visit to our frequently updated reviews page.

It's not only cameras we like to review at What Digital Camera, we also test all the latest software. Adobe Lightroom 5 has recently been released and to find out if the improvements make it a worthy upgrade, we downloaded it to try out the latest features.

If you're currently looking to bag yourself a new DSLR, but don't know what's best or where your money is best spent, you'll want some buying advice to point you in the right direction. Our Best DSLRs of 2013 looks at the very best models from entry-level DSLRs to mid-priced enthusiast models.

We're also thrilled this week to announce that we have reached 20 million views for our YouTube channel. We'd like to thank all our viewers and subscribers who have made this possible, and if you're not already subscribed, make sure you head over to our What Digital Camera YouTube Channel to watch all our first look and camera review videos.

If you like competitions, don't miss out on an opportunity to win an Olloclip 3 in 1 iPhone lens worth £59.95, which allows you to make your camera lens fish-eye, wide-angle or macro. See more details here. Or you can upload your best animal photo to our gallery for your chance to win a Panasonic Lumix FZ200 and a day at Rutland Bird Fair.
