You'll be using your photo skills daily to produce creative photographic and Photoshop techniques as well as planning and writing product reviews and news. The successful candidate will have a passion for photography and digital imaging, a strong interest in the latest software and camera equipment, and the ability to articulate the complexities of photography in a clear and accessible way.

So if you've been meaning to submit your portfolio but never quite got round to it, now's the time to bite the bullet. In the first instance email up to five lo-res JPEGs (no larger than 1MB each) that show off your work in the best possible way, and include contact details and info about your work and photographic interests. Looking to upgrade your kit lens? The Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM could be the perfect next step. Featuring near-silent STM focusing technology and a 3.5 stop optical Image Stabiliser, this lightweight telephoto zoom is ideal for portrait and wildlife photography. With a minimum focusing distance of 85cm you could shoot some nifty close-ups too. Available in the UK from late September, the latest addition to Canon's EF range will retail for around £350.
