With Jessops being saved from the brink by Dragon's Den star Peter Jones and independent retailers like Wilkinson Cameras opening new stores, it seems photography is retaking its place on the high street. There are now 27 Jessops stores across the UK, with more to open in the coming months, and 24th August sees Wilkinson's Liverpool store open its doors to the public. Seeing Jessops stores boarded up following its fall into administration was a truly depressing sight, so this is amazing news for all concerned.
