It's been another busy month on the new cameras front. The Olympus OM-D EM-5 is one of our favourite cameras of recent years, so we're very excited to see that Olympus has made an even better version in the shape of its new big brother the EM-1, which becomes the new flagship not only of the Olympus Micro Four Thirds range, but also it's older E series range when used with the new E mount adaptor. Find out why this promises to be the best Olympus camera of the digital age. Meanwhile Sony has thrown away the rule book with its latest ‘cameras' the QX10 and QX100. These revolutionary devices are unlike anything that has been seen before. Resembling lenses, and with no LCD screens of their own, they connect wirelessly to your smartphone to provide the image quality and optical zoom of a proper camera (the RX100 no less, in the case of the QX100) but with the touchscreen, editing and sharing benefits of your phone. At just £179 the cheaper QX10, with its 10x zoom, is set to be one of the hottest gifts this Christmas. For the more traditional DSLR photographer don't miss our review of Canon's most advanced APS-C DSLR to date, the EOS 70D, with its unique and innovative sensor. It's a cracker, as Deputy Editor Phil Hall found when he reviewed it. Don't forget there's still just time to enter our competition to win a Fujifilm X20 in our great competition if you haven't yet done so. Head over to our YouTube channel to enter.
