Tuesday 12 November 2013

After speculation, rumours and a prolonged build up campaign, Nikon has finally pulled the covers off its latest full-frame creation - the Nikon Df. Inspired by Nikon film cameras of the past such as the FM2 and F3, the Df is out to target passionate photographers who enjoy the creative process of picture taking. It looks great, the spec is impressive, and you can read what we really think about it in our Nikon Df first impressions article.

The day after the launch of the Nikon Df, questions were aplenty on Facebook and Twitter. Taking some of the questions you asked, we created a video of our Nikon DF interview, looking at the inspiration behind the camera and whether the launch suggests it's the first product of a new line for the manufacturer.

Back in the office, it's been a hectic time for reviews. We've recently uploaded all our latest tests, which include the Fujifilm X-A1 - the manufacturer's latest entry-level CSC that costs under £500.

In other news, we were recently given exclusive access to try out Sony's latest full-frame cameras - the Sony Alpha 7 and Sony Alpha 7R. We took a series of images using early samples and our first Pre-production shots look mightily impressive.

Finally, with Christmas just around the corner, don't miss our Christmas buying guides that will give you inspiration into what to buy for your loved ones this festive season, whatever your budget!
