There's been more movement over the past few days in terms of product. To begin with Sigma has 'reinvented' the camera with its new dp Quattro range of compacts, which have had every aspect rethought and redesinged and come with a 39-million-pixel Foveon sensor.

Panasonic has announced the Lumix DMC-GH4, which is able to film 4K worth of 'professional' footage and is capable of producing images of a quality good enough for video.

Ricoh Imaging is to showcase a new Pentax medium-format DSLR at the CP+ Japanese trade show next week.

Finally, Tamron has unveiled two 'all in one' full-frame telephoto zooms - a 16-300mm and a 28-300mm.

So, that's it, see you next time
