Tuesday 27 May 2014

This week the news is Leica, Leica and more Leica, as the firm celebrates its 100th anniversary. AP travelled to the brand-new Leica factory at Wetzlar in Germany to get a look at what was going on.

We've got a full report on our visit, an interview with the Leica CEO, the unveiling of the first Leica film camera in 10 years, and we even managed to get an answer as to whether we can expect a full-frame Leica T. There's more to follow so keep checking back with us.

Elsewhere on the site, we've got our complete guide to the art of freelensing. We run you through what gear to use, what mistakes to avoid and what striking effects you can create with this exciting technique. Find out more.

Lastly, Father's Day is approaching fast. If you're dreading the thought of picking out a present we've got you covered with 13 Ideal Photography Gifts for Father's Day.

That's all for this week.
