The Great Nature Project
is a worldwide celebration of life on our planet. This week, we're inviting people of all ages to get outside, take pictures of the plants and animals in their worlds, and then share those pictures with the whole world. Together we can create a global snapshot of the diverse life all around us—and try for a Guinness World Records® title for the Largest Online Photo Album of Animals!

To join in, snap a picture of a plant or animal in your neighborhood, and upload it to a photo sharing site like Instagram, Twitter, Flickr, or National Geographic Your Shot, making sure to tag it #GreatNature. To participate in the world record attempt, add #animal to any animal photo. Visit the Great Nature Project website for photo tips, celebrity-curated albums, a daily photo challenge, and more!
