|  | | | | | | | | | | News: Nikon announce new full-frame DSLR | |  | | | | Just over a year since the launch of the D600, Nikon has upped the ante with the D610, a similarly specified FX-format DSLR that adds a few new interesting features to the mix. The fully weather-sealed model features a Quiet Release burst mode that shoots 3fps in near-silence, making the D610 an excellent camera for wildlife, and the full continuous shooting speed has been increased to 6fps (the D600 was 5.5fps). The sensor hasn't changed – it's the same 24.3MP FX-format CMOS as featured in the D600 – but Nikon has borrowed the D800's multi-area Full HD D-Movie technology.
