Tuesday 10 June 2014

We've lots to bring you this week!

For starters we've had a chance to try out the new Pentax 645Z and its format-sized CMOS sensor. A whopping 51.4-million pixels, ISO sensitivity up to 204,800 and an extensively weather-sealed body all add up to a a seriously impressive package for the £6,799.99 price tag. Our Deputy Editor Richard Sibley took it for a spin.

Our full review of the Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark II has landed. The original PowerShot G1 X had a fair few flaws that needed addressing, and the G1 X Mark II represents Canon's chance to rectify them. Is it a success? We find out.

Inspired by a fantastic discovery by our Deputy Editor, we take a look at photographers who found they had no need for cameras at all: 5 pro photographers who ditched a DSLR for an iPhone.

We're also able to unveil our Photography and Digital Camera Insurance policy. Whether it's in your home or out and about with you, we can provide insurance that covers your equipment if it is stolen or accidentally damaged. Find out more.

Finally, we're incredibly excited to announce that we are officially counting down to the day we unveil the biggest redesign of AP in more than a decade. All will be revealed on June 17, but for now you can keep up on our Twitter and Facebook feeds.

That's all for this week.
